Bingman Opens Registration with Carnival Feb 18
Bingman Head Start is hosting a Registration Carnival on Saturday, February 18, 2023, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., at the campus, located at 5265 South Kenneth Avenue.
Beaumont students who will be three and four years old by September 1, 2023, will qualify by the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines to attend.
Head Start is a low-income program that follows the Federal Poverty Guidelines of 2023 for participation. Full income for 2022 will have to be confirmed in order to qualify (Income Tax, TANF, SSI, Child Support, etc).
Items needed to complete the registration include: child applicants up-to-date immunization record, Social Security card, Birth Certificate, Medicaid or insurance card, Food Stamps letter, and primary adult's Driver's License. A medical and dental form will also be needed from your child's physician and dentist provider.
“Bingman is a low income program that focuses on the whole child and family,” said principal Sue Little. “Our mission is to have every child kindergarten ready. It’s not only academics but encouraging young minds to believe in themselves.”
