Beaumont ISD is celebrating "Random Acts of Kindness Week" across the District with activities to show the importance of making kindness the norm.
Students have enjoyed playing games, coloring pages and participating in activities to remind them that even small acts of kindness really can change the world. Simple examples include sending out handmade and handwritten cards or leaving a motivational quote on a bathroom stall door, above a sink or a drinking fountain.
One example of kindness was provided by our health services department with nurses and Health Aids sharing uplifting and positive words of kindness.
“Make it a priority to show acts of kindness each day and see what an impact it can have on others,” said Jenny Angelo, Director of Curriculum and Instruction.
