Vision Statement:
We will foster the curiosity of students in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics to help build a strong pipeline into our future workforce and to do our part to develop future innovators and researchers who will help solve the world’s global challenges.
Mission Statement:
By using an interdisciplinary approach, students will learn how to use Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics collectively in real-world problem-solving through critical thinking, analysis, and collaboration. We will develop our students into global change agents and solution implementers.
Goals
1. Create alignment and equity for STEM experiences from 3rd to 12th grade throughout the district2. Expand students’ STEM experiences outside of the classroom3. Provide STEM instructors with training and professional development so that can remain abreast of the changes in technology and industry standards4. Enhancing the Advanced STEM Academy at Marshall Middle School so that more STEM courses can be offered5. Increase the number of students selecting the STEM program of study endorsement
